Summertime is in full swing and we’re loving the heat. To capitalize on the fiery and transformational energy of the season, we’ve rounded up our top 5 tips for a sexy & spirited summer.
1. Drink your greens.
Infuse your summer with some high vibe liquid nutrition and drink your greens. Take advantage of the abundance of fresh produce and cool off with a cold-pressed green juice or nutrient dense green smoothie. Our favorite summer combo is:
SUMMER DREAMS GREEN SMOOTHIE
1 cup fresh coconut water
1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 small bosc pear
1/4 small avocado
3/4 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 frozen banana
1 large handful kale
1 large handful spinach
Blend & enjoy.
2. Get outside.
Take full advantage of the beautiful summer weather and go outside every single day. If you can, take your normal day-to-day activities outdoors. Eat lunch in the park, walk to work, study at the beach, do yoga, outside. Enjoy the sunshine as much as you possibly can (safely, of course -- always wear sunscreen).
3. Drop the comparison.
It’s so easy to compare yourself to other people (especially during the summer months when clothing is minimal), but to be completely honest, comparisonitis doesn’t serve you (and never will), so own what you got, girl! -- you are more beautiful than you know.
4. Embrace your natural beauty.
Beachy hair, sun-kissed glowy skin, minimal makeup -- let your inner beauty shine through this season.
5. Have more fun!
Keep it light this summer and have more fun! Align with the season’s carefree energy and wholeheartedly enjoy yourself! Go to the beach, plan a weekend getaway, have a night out with your girlfriends. Fun is truly the catalyst for all that is good in your life so make it your summer mantra to have more of it.
