When I first started on my spiritual path I devoured every bit of information — I couldn’t get enough. I watched every lecture, read every book, listened to every podcast, and wanted to incorporate everything I was learning. But as I began to add more to my spiritual ‘to-do’ list, keeping up with it began to feel stressful — more like work (and not the deep juicy inner work), but the heavy, restrictive, pressing work that we turn to our spiritual practices for.
It’s an incredible thing. To have so many resources, coaches, teachers, and tools that help us tap into our true essence, but it can also be incredibly overwhelming, especially for those new to this work.
