Soul Spotlight is our way of celebrating some incredibly inspiring, passion fueled alchemists. This month we are SO excited to introduce you to our friend, Miss Katie Dalebout. Curator of all things wellness, author, blogger, life-coach, yoga instructor, and host of our absolute favorite podcast, Wellness Wonderland Radio. Beautiful inside and out, Katie is honestly one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She radiates love, kindness, and radical authenticity, inspiring women everywhere to create a wellness wonderland of their own. We’re so blessed to call Katie our friend, hope you love her as much as we do (we know you will!). Take it away, wonder girl ..

Tell us a little about yourself. What is your mission?
Hi! I’m Katie, a curator of all things inspiring to me. I’m a blogger, podcast host and soon to be author of a book about journaling called Let It Out: A Journey Through Journaling.

What does ‘inner alchemy’ mean to you?
Crafting the perfect eating strategy // lifestyle that works for you and your unique body. 

How do you nourish your ..
Mind - Listen to a ton of podcasts and audiobooks and good music.
Body - Eat high vibe foods and exercise in loving ways. Walk everywhere as much as I can. Try to sleep as early as I can.
Soul - Journal. Have long talks with friends. Host my podcast.

What’s the one thing you wish you knew when you were first starting out on this journey?
That being dogmatic about anything defeats the purpose. Life is supposed to feel good.

A day in the life of Katie looks like ..
Really different everyday.

Any morning rituals?
Wake up early. Drink a bunch of water and take a probiotic. Have warm water with lemon. Write on a good day. Go to a really early morning yoga or barre class. Meditate. Maybe color a mandala. Eat breakfast and then start with a creative task. Finish at least one creative task before I check email.

Evening rituals?
Usually record a podcast in the evening or talk to a client. Making dinner, getting in my PJs, and watching youtube videos or lately NetFlix because I JUST got it. Writing down 5 things I’m grateful for about the day and going bed.

Your non-negotiable(s) ..
Journaling on the regular about my feelings. I don’t know how I’m feeling unless I’m writing. Also, drinking a ton of water when I first wake up in the morning. Saying to myself, “it is going to be an amazingly awesome day” every morning.

Any unconventional life hacks / beauty tricks you swear by?
I wash my face with Hemp Oil and I love it. I also only wash my hair like once a week.

Celeb crush:
Josh Radnor and Seth Cohen from the OC

Go-to smoothie recipe:
-tons of blueberries
-tons of spinach
-tons of cinnamon
-vanilla stevia like a bunch of drops
-hemp seeds
-ginger powder
-splash of almond milk
-maybe half a banana or more berries


Do you have a mantra, motto, or personal manifesto you live by?

Seek WONDER and inspiration everywhere.

How do you connect to your internal guidance, your inner wisdom, your inner alchemist?
Long walks and writing. Journaling is the way I figure out how I’m feeling.

Tell us one thing you haven’t done yet that you really, really want to do.
I want to make // be in a movie! Either a make a documentary or a feature or short about a topic I’m inspired by.
